Minnie's story

Little Minnie was found at 5 weeks old, malnourished and covered in sores.

She was stuffed into a bin bag and dumped in a bin.

She was taken to a London vet who spoke to us at Dizzy Chihuahua rescue and asked if we would help. We immediately took her in and set about helping this poor little girl.

. . . and so her journey with Dizzy Chihuahua Rescue began!

She was in a great deal of pain, had extensive fur loss and sore skin

She also had worms and was generally in the worst state you could imagine.

Our vets put her on an hourly regime of eye drops and medicated baths to help with her skin.

She was a sweet soul, despite the terrible treatment she had endured.

She settled with her Dizzy Chihuahua Rescue family and was happy to be welcomed to a friendly place

After a few weeks, her skin condition improved. We could see that her tail had been cut and we can only imagine the horrors that she had gone through.

Her skin condition was not Dermatitis as we initially thought, but horrifically a result of some kind of chemical burn!
