Bambi's Story
Bambi has been a very much loved little dog and was relinquished to rescue through no fault of her own. Bambi has cataracts and we are currently fundraising for surgery to save little Bambi’s sight
You can follow her progress or take part in our fundraising raffles on Facebook – Dizzy Chihuahua Rescue Group and Dizzy Chihuahua Rescue Fundraisers
About Bambi
Bambi is a lovely natured, happy dog, who loves to be part of the family and likes someone around all of the time. She loves to run with the other dogs as part of the pack or happy to entertain herself playing with or ripping her toys up. Equally she develops a strong bond with her human/s and loves nothing better than to sit on your knee for strokes and cuddles or snuggle in under the duvet at night time to remain close.
She gets along well with other dogs but small is mighty and she can protect herself if other dogs have a go at her. She has very good hearing and will bark to alert you, if she hears noises or anyone coming near to her home, especially wood pigeons, she likes to chase them.
She can wary of visitors and strangers coming in her domain, until she gets to know them and will then happily interact, however, anything is negotiable for a treat.
Bambi’s eyesight is poor, we will continue to fundraise and will endeavour to have her cataract operation carried out ASAP, once we have the funding. We feel it is in Bambi’s interest to be settled into a loving home sooner, rather than later and will be looking to place her in foster with the possibility to adopt until she has her surgery
